Title / Titel	MRP-1: A gateway for drugs to the stroke brain

Summary / Zusammenfassung	The ABC transporter MRP-1 is expressed on the abluminal surface of the endothelium. Its function until now remained obscure. In this project, the impact of MRP-1 in drug accumulation and efficacy are analyzed using pharmacological and hostochenical tools. Our data show that MRP-1 controls brain entrance, its deactivation almost completely preventing brain accumulation and drug action. Weitere Informationen
