Summary / Zusammenfassung	The project investigates selected models of infant care in daycare facilities for children within Switzerland and abroad wich are considered as innovative relating to the established forms of infant day care in Switzerland. These models are analysed with regard to their inherent pedagogical premises, notions of quality and structural conditions. An overview of the established forms of infant day care in Switzerland is gained by interviews with experts. On this basis the choise of some models in infant care result. They are analysed by a qualitative methodology of reseach. The findings are references for new conceptions in infant day care within the area of the universities in Zürich.
