Summary / Zusammenfassung Problem-based learning (PBL) is regarded as one of the most promising methods for improving teaching at university level. Its main goals are improving students’ learning motivation and fostering problem-solving skills as well as team- and communication skills. In this way, PBL will help to prepare students better for future professional tasks and challenges. In the context of this evaluation study, we will analyse the implementation of PBL in the curriculum of a graduate technical school. The aim is to come to valid conclusions concerning implementation, practical realisation and effects of Problem-Based Learning.
