| Summary / Zusammenfassung | The Sahelanthropus fossils from the Upper Miocene of Chad (~ 7 million years) represent the earliest known hominid. This research project focuses on CT-based analysis, computer-assisted preparation, virtual reconstruction and morphometric analysis of the craniomandibular remains.
