| Summary / Zusammenfassung | Project description: The goal of the research projects is to find new prognostic and predictive markers in B-cell lymphomas. Cell surface capture technology is an innovative mass spectrometry based method which allowed to identify more than 900 transmembrane proteins in Hodgkin- and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma cell lines in a translational research project (collaboration with Dr. B. Wollscheid, ETH Zurich). Data were then transferred to primary patient’s tissue where few candidate proteins emerged as novel, promising differentiating markers useful in Hodgkin lymphoma diagnostics. The validation of these markers is currently in progress on a larger patient cohort. In a different approach, mathematical modelling including molecular and immunophenotypic markers revealed improved diagnostic accuracy with prognostic and predictive values in aggressive B-cell lymphomas | ||
