|Summary / Zusammenfassung||Various aspects such as globalization, availability of information and unethical enterprise behavior have led to increasing awareness of Corporate Social Responsibility both in internal and external perspective. Yet there is growing awareness that Corporate Social Responsibility is not limited to reactive tactics. It is increasingly recognized as invaluable concept of defining, maintaining and optimizing the relationship towards stakeholders. In this context, collaboration with nonprofit-organizations has gained substantial importance. While the relationship between these organizations and the private sector has traditionally been controversial, common projects leading to mutual benefit can be observed in recent years.
This thesis aims to analyze cooperation models between business and nonprofit-organizations (social alliances) in the context of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).The theoretical part will introduce and explore various approaches of collaboration by highlighting interdependencies between Corporate Social Responsibility, Marketing and Social Alliances. The empirical part will provide comprehensive analysis and examination of collaboration models between listed companies and nonprofit-organizations in D-A-CH region.
