| Summary / Zusammenfassung | The food additive HPBCD was found to have antiviral activity. This substance is therefore evaluated in a tipical formulation to prevent reccurrent herpes labialis in a Phase I/II clinical trial. Also, a clinical trial in recurrent genital herpes is currently performed. | ||
