| Summary / Zusammenfassung | The aim is to conduct the third survey wave of the longitudinal study COCON (see entry 9630) and to investigate a series of research questions requiring data from all three survey waves: 1. What is the relative significance of the quality of life-course transitions compared to the opportunities encountered and the quality of social relationships experienced in various socialization contexts (i.e., family, school, and peers) for prosocial behavior and the development of the academic self-concept? Are there age-related differences? 2. What is the relative significance of the quality of life-course transitions and the quality of peer relationships (compared to the quality of social relationships in other life domains) for the stability or change in the readiness to take on social responsibility between mid- and late adolescence? 3. What is the relative significance of the quality of life-course transitions, opportunities, the quality of social relationships, and personal resources for well-being in school/work in mid-childhood and mid-adolescence? Are there age-related differences? |
